Value Added Integrator

A perfect storm has been brewing which is impacting industrial operations across North America.  Electrical motor and controls manufacturers have reduced application engineering headcount. The inevitable result is a diminished ability to properly specify, size, apply and install motors and control equipment. This results in premature equipment failures and unnecessary lost productivity each year. If this problem sounds familiar to you, turn to the experts at i2R Systems to help with Equipment Specification, Applications Engineering and Equipment Installation & Start-up. We do retrofits, upgrades and complete turnkey solutions. i2R Systems is proud to be a Factory Authorized Value Added Systems Integrator for Motortronics equipment, Control Techniques - Nidec, Drives & VFD’s and T-Star Static VAr Compensators.

T-Star Static VAr Compensators

T-Star Engineering Static VAr Compensator (SVC) systems are used to ensure brown out protection and provide power factor correction (PFC) of your large motor drive applications.  If you already purchased a large HP motor that you can't get started, a T-Star SVC is clearly the most cost-effective solution. One SVC can accommodate multiple “problem” loads in electrical utility/co-ops.

  • SVC systems strengthen the existing primary electrical power system – eliminating prohibitively expensive power system upgrades

  • A single T-Star SVC allows starting of multiple large HP motors without VFD’s and soft starters

  • SVC systems support existing soft starters to get hard-to-start large HP motors to full speed with power factor correction
